Lists in RoboHelp
Ever since the release of RoboHelp 8 there has been a lot of discussion about lists. RoboHelp 8 changed the way lists work and that has confues many people: RoboHelp 8 uses XHTML instead of HTML 4.01 (as was used by RoboHelp 7 and earlier). This different HTML version forces browsers to render your help differently, thus breaking the lists.
This article provides a review of lists in RoboHelp and shows how you can use lists in RoboHelp 8 and later. This article will give you information about why your lists stopped working. If you are looking for a step-by-step walkthrough for fixing your lists, check out Peter Grainge's site.
